Today N507RV took to the skies for the first time. The flight ended with .5 hours on the hobbs. She flew hands off with everything in the green. Randy Thorne did a great job flying her and thanks to Dave Clinchy flying chase with me in his RV-7. I put together this little video of her journey along the way.

Here are a couple of options depending on your internet bandwidth:

Higher Quality - http://vimeo.com/4007562

Lower Bandwith - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d7iNCCBvQ88

Congrats Byron! Everything looks beautiful...plane, panel, the works!

I can see your grin from this side of the mountains! :D

Cheers,

Beautiiiifulllll!

Way to go, Byron!
That panel is awesome! I love watching those first flight videos. There is really no sight more cool than watching a plane take flight for the very first time!
If you have your 40 flown off by the 25th of April, bring it up to Calaveras Co. (KCPU) for the Airfaire. Look for me in my grey and red PA-20.
Have fun!

Congrats! Nothing quite like a first flight. I especially like the wing flash at the end of the video as it touches down.

it was an honor!

Bryon,

Congratulations!! (again:)). That is a great video! Your panel and electronics are the most impressive I've seen!

It was an honor to fly chase on your first flight!
