Okay! Whew, I am glad that is over. The morning started out with a small oil leak while spinning the prop with out spark plugs. Fixed that, then went for the gusto and fired it up. After about 3 seconds a geyser of oil blasted out of the back of the engine. YIKES!. The oil filter exploded. What the?.. Turns out that the oil regulator came from ECI cranked all the way in to max pressure. I had to back it out about 5/8's to get it where it needed to be. Replaced the filter and it ran like a kitten. Mags checked good. Alternator good. All gauges and indications normal except RPM which was about 400 high. I'll get to that next week.

Thanks Vlad! Lots of hard work and lonesome hours. It's pure joy to have gotten this far. Now to schedule my airworthiness inspection!
