I've been documenting -- albeit slowly -- the installation of a Vertical Power-50 system in my RV-7A.

On Sunday, I fired it up. I'm always surprised when something I do, actually works!

I bought an AC with a D-180 and SL-40 powered up by a VP-50. I swapped the SL-40 for an SL-30 and added a D100 as an IFR backup (along with a separate power bus and 4 hours of battery backup.

I just lit it all off tonight. Trying to figure out how to upgrade the VP-50 software when I cant even figure out where I am supposed to plug the PC into . The guy at the factory is helpful, but has never even seen a VP-50. The instructions are worthless. Do you or anyone else have step by step instructions including things like what port to plug into for software updates?
