I was wondering if there is a better way to run the wiring through the firewall of my RV-7 than the snap bushings Van's suggests ? I scoured the pages of Aircraft Spruce but have not found anything more secure. Would stainless steel eyeball firewall passthrough(s) work? Or is there something better out there I cannot find?
I'm at that stage in my project where I'm laying out the wiring and the thought of a plastic grommet covered in high temp RTV doesn't seem quite right.
