I'm preparing my top forward skin for riveting but first I need a measurement from other finished RV-8s. I want to know what the distance is from your instrument panel rivet row to the inside base of your windscreen. I know this will vary from airplane to airplane; I'm trying to compile a consensus to give me an average. There is only so much information I can get from photos. Any real measurements would be very helpful.
