I'd love to build an RV12 and have the financial means to do the subkits for the basic airframe but I'd have a hard time coming up with the kind of money needed for the avionics and engine. Can those be financed when the time comes?
Yes there are ways to finance, these 2 threads below give some good info on it. I am actually working with First Pryor Bank as we speak and should have an answer back very shortly. Very nice people to deal with
I concur with David. Give April or Bob a call at First Pyrority.
They have a loan that works very similiar to a construction loan on a house. It will save you a few bucks if you buy kits over a period of time. You don't have to borrow the entire amount at once.
Many of you will be surprised to find out just how accomodating your local bank can be. Mine has financed airplanes for many years, for me and customers, when we were a Cessna Ag airplane dealer.
