Can someone walk me through the application for a repairman's certificate or provide a link -- possibly EAA although I haven't been able to find one -- to an explanation of which boxes need to be filled out and with what. I'm not at all sure.

First off, My FSDO required a face to face meeting.

He handed me the form and I had to fill it out sitting in front of him. He told me what he wanted to see.

I was asked to bring all of my paperwork (registration, Op limitations, Can't remember if he wanted the W&B), my build log. Basically, he wanted to see every form you would send to the DAR. Some, I could not find, but the DAR had filed them with the FAA. They pulled them from FAA files.

Walked out with a temp certificate.

Schedule with the FSDO. Bring your build logs and photos.

They redid my paperwork any way, so you can just fill it out while there with their assistance.

They will issue a temporary and off you go.

I should've mentioned, I've already talked with an inspector at FSDO. He led me to the site with the application, told me to fill it out and bring all the other stuff people have mentioned.
