So I've laid up my windscreen fairing in the -10, and have to make the transitions at the corners of the windscreen - worse on the right as appears to be typical.

I'm planning to use additional glass to fill in these larger transitions given the depth needed to bring it up to a smooth transition.

Realizing that I'll likely need to fill in some depth with epoxy/flox/cabo (vertical orientation) - what is the maximum thickness of filler that folks feel comfortable using? Is there a max that you would apply at one time vs in multiple applications?

Nope, not in this context. The risk is exotherm in thick sections. You're talking what, 1/4" thick, tops?

Yep, no more than that. I figured to bring it up close with glass. If I can get close enough, might just use micro to ease sanding, but suspect might need some flox for integrity.

Man, you must have auto-notify for the fiberglass forum.

Appreciate your expertise, Dan
