Does anyone have a solution to small filiform corrosion spots on the external skins? I do not intend to paint until well after the phase I period.

The corrosion was under the blue plastic in small isolated spots.

I would like to avoid the measles look.

After removing the corrosion, touch up the abraded area with alodine and/or primer to prevent further corrosion from developing. What you definitely don't want to do is to leave bare 2024 surface where the cladding has been compromised.

It may not look the prettiest until you paint, but your bigger concern at this point should be to prevent further damage from corrosion. Aesthetics is a secondary concern, and will be taken care of when you go to paint.
