Plain Manila File Folders - What good are they in a paperless driven world when you don't need to make any more part patterns. Well, they make great tools for removing the cowl without scraping the paint off of the nose gear strut and at the front of the cowl where you have to work it clear of the spinner during removal and installation. After paying thousands for a paint job, this is important.

Nice idea! Thanks!

Amazing what you can do with card stock paper materials. I use only the pendaflex folders here in my file cabinet, no manila folders in them, just all the receipts from the RV-project.

Another abrasion-reducer material is that Tyvek and other of its ilk. Thin, tough as *&%, and inexpensive.
