OK, I hate to ask for this favor, but lately I find myself tired of fishing thru websites looking for this info so I thought I'd ask the experts out there for help. I've finished my empennage and am awaiting delivery of my wings and fuse. I figured I'd start smoothing the joints between the VS, HS, and elev and fiberglass caps. How? If someone could post a short tutorial on how to do this, such as do I use resin/hardener with filler first or fiberglass cloth and epoxy first, It would be a great help to me and possibly other builders out there also getting to this point. Thanks in advance.

empennage tips

I did this, and now I regret it. If I could do it again, I'd just rivet the tips on and leave it at that. Perhaps fill in the pop rivets.

Trying to make an RV look "smooth" like a plastic airplane is like trying to put a football player in a wedding dress.
