I read on one thread where that if you are registering with co-owners that both owners must sign the 8050-88.

How is this done since there is only one place to sign???

At the top of the form is the 'builder'. If you put both names as builders make sure both names are used everywhere exactly the same for 'builder'.
Builder and owner do not have to be the same and most times probably are not. Like I am the builder and my wife and I are the owners.
When you get to the owners, and the signature area, both sign above/below or side by side.
