I've match drilled the F704H to F704C and D. Those would be the rivet holes on the outside edges of the 704H. On the inside, however, on the fork, there are also rivet holes. What do these get drilled to? What do I match drill them to? There is nothing underneath them. Have I missed a part somewhere along the way?

Thanks!

found this answer myself today

Rich,

I spent hours researching this over the last few days. Fortunately, I have a couple of QBs on the field not far away. Looked at one and the only thing the inner holes near the cutout are for, is to attach the outer side skin to the F704H. I think the rivet callout is 470 4-5 and they look long to me for that, but that is what I concluded. I think the bottom hole has a pulled rivet in it. Should be able to squeeze the rest from the area where the spar will go in. If I am wrong, will someone that has already done this please correct me.

You are the man, Mike!!

Thanks for both of us. I wasn't real sure, but had spent hours, really, looking through all the drawings to see what goes behind there. Thought I had forgotten something. Made my wife more comfortable last night when I saw this post as well. Hope to prime center fuselage tomorrow if weather permits. Stop by any time. BTW, how is yours coming. Need to bring my wife by to see it. I am in Norfolk, VA today. Should be home this evening.
