I have QB wings for an RV-9A. I’m finding the F-996A bracket won’t mate with the wing bracket and the fuselage where it should align with the fuse holes. Is there a problem simply extending the fuselage flange of the F-996A by 1/4 to 1/2” so there is enough meat for the bolt?
