Started the longerons today. I was able to bend them and open the angle according to plans. On a dry fit with the forward fuse I could see they needed some tweaking, so I did that. They seem to fit fairly well but will need to be clamped in place to line up with the firewall weldments.

My concern is, the plans stipulate in BOLD print that the left and right should be mirror images. I believe them to be close but they don't exactly mirror each other. Am I headed for trouble?

Headed for trouble?

I'm not sure that I would characterize it as headed for trouble. That said, the lower longerons are very stiff and I would try to get them bent such that they fit well and are very close to symmetrical. I trial fit the forward skins to verify the longeron bend angle but in retrospect I could have just laid the longeron against the skin to verify the angle.
