All,
Any thoughts on how to roll that section of the lower aft portion of the F823PP side skin. It is the side skin that connects to the center section and goes aft from there. The instructions say to clamp the skin to the bench and then clamp some 1X2's .5 inches from the edge and roll upward and inward. Well, that isn't working too well for me. Anyone have any tricks up their sleeves for this?

Thanks,

good luck

I followed the plans. one side looks ok, the other side is a bit bollocksed up. funny, because the first attempt went pretty well.

I used two sided tape on both the work bench and the clamp wood to keep things from slipping. I fastened it down as hard as my 210 lb body would allow, then I used a piece of 1" hardwood dowel with a groove in it to bend it. I did a little extra forming with the seeming pliers then put a slight bevel on the aft edge where it curves with the edge beveling tool. after riveting it in place I was pleased with the results. Hope this helps
