I started making the F-817 side plates tonight and had a question about the rivet lines called out in the drawings. The drawings list the dimensions for the rivet lines that attach the piece to the F-805 and F-806 bulkheads. The plans say that the bulkhead flange centerlines probably won't be visible through the rivet holes in the 817, so the builder will have to "fudge" the bulkheads into place. The flange centerlines aren't even close for me, and I don't think I can "fudge" them that far. The bulkheads' flanges and web are as close to 90 degrees as I could get them and not very flexible at this point.

Do any of you who have gone before me see a problem with drilling my rivet lines in the 817 to match up with the 805 and 806 bulkhead, rather than trying to bend the bulkheads to fit? The F-817 side plates serve as a mounting plate for the WD-808 seat support weldment.
