The four F-804C's are the bulkheads which attach to the main spar carry thru. They have been match drilled at the factory in assembly with the spar structure.

Did anyone have trouble getting these to lay down flat on the spars? We don't flute the lower portion of the flanges as they receive gussets on the inside. This results in some weird stresses in the sheet metal at the lower portion of the F-804C bulkhead where they attach to the spar structure. I am thinking about beating one of these bulkheads into submission, but I don't think this will help

Had the exact same problem. I tried what I could, and fluted what was allowed to get it to lay down, but there is a slight curve in it. I'm hoping it will work get massaged into place once clecoed.

They seem like they will be crooked and not work. But once they are clecoed into place with all the parts and skin, they work out just fine. The caps help straighten them up too.
