Hi folks,
I am installing the panel and wiring on my -8. I have painted all the interior componets prior to assembly and would like to do the same with the sub-panel. Looking at the parts, there are the two 803-B panel parts, the 803-C that ties them together and the 803-D wings that attach to the fuselage sides. I am trying to figure out if I can rivet all that together, paint it and then get it in the airplane. If not, I will have to install it and then paint it.
Since I am heavy into the wiring portion of the adventure, it seems like this would be the time to rivet this sub-assembly in. Any experience here?
