Fuselage still upside down, just about to begin riveting. Instructions say to install the F-728A bellcrank channel and F-728B angle after rolling the canoe. However, I can't find a reason not to install them both just before rolling the canoe (there are a handful of rivets to be set on the bottom skin, so it would seem to be easier to do it now.) Am I missing something?

Thanks in advance!

RV-7 slow build / tip-up

I had to look at my builders log to see what I did. It appears from the pictures that I riveted The F-728 in before flipping, but I didn't call it out specifically in my notes. Van's may be concerned with somebody grabbing that extended piece and inadvertently using it as a lever when flipping the canoe. That would be a bad thing. Oddly enough, I wrote in the log that we used four people to flip the canoe...I really didn't want that thing getting away from us.
