I've been working through the Fuselage instructions and have come to the Forward Covers section. The instructions end with the fuel valve cover and center cabin cover. They don't address the side plates, side plate angle brackets and F-7114 lower gussets. The drawings do. (I figure the instructions don't address the F-7114 lower gussets because it's an RV-7 issue only, the RV-7A don't have them). I don't have a problem with the side plates & angle brackets, but I'm wondering about the lower gussets. Have other RV-7 builders drilled the lower gussets at this point, using the side skin -- which has starter holes -- as a template? Or is there a reason to do it later in the project.
