Clecoed up my top skin to verify the break in the skins. I noticed the F-1210B plate, that holds the front of the VS is very close to the top skin in it's slot. The distance from the center of the rivet holes to the edge of the slot is 8/32". Did any one else encounter this? And did you file the slot open so they don't make contact or does the VS pull back on the F-1210B making this a non-issue?

It wasn't an issue on mine, but personally if I had a LITTLE amount of interference I'd file it to fit and go on. We engineers used to say field fit means beat to fit paint to match! OK, that's over the top, but we engineer geeks have a strange sense of humor! :)
