Just heard on the news that there were 2 people killed in a crash near Dallas. Hope it wasn't anyone on here. RIP to those involved.

I sure hate this kind of news.

Officials said the crash happened about 1 ? miles south east of the Mineral Wells Airport.

Investigators report the pilot was attempting to land at the airport when it went down.

The plane is identified as a Glass Air, single-engine plane and was registered to a Mineral Wells couple.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

The Fort Worth paper this morning identified the two fatalities as a couple, last name Hise, from Mineral Wells. No other details.
