Would it be appropriate to apply some spark plug anti-seize to my exhaust studs or is there another product specially designed for this application?

RE: Exhaust Stud Anti-Seize lube

The installation instructions that came with my Vetterman exhaust recommended using anti-seize on the exhaust studs threads but didn't specify anything in particular. The instructions did recommend using Loctite C5-A or similar for the elbow joints. C5-A is an all-purpose anti-seize lubricant for studs, bolts, flanges and fittings. It is recommended for most anti-seize applications for temperatures up to 1800?F. (980?C).

Sacramento Sky Ranch has some information on their web page on antiseize properties and recommendations. They recommend against using copper based anti-seize lubricants.

Pegasus Auto Racing sells SAF-T-EZE Anti-Seize Compound, MIL-A-907-E
high-temperature anti-seize for cylinder head bolts, exhaust manifold bolts, and spark plug threads. It exceeds MIL-A-907 E specifications and protects up to 2000?F. Aluminum content provides increased corrosion protection over most copper-colored anti-seize compounds. Does not contain lead.

Both Sacramento and Pegasus stock the ST-1 Antiseize mfg by. SAF-T-EZE which looks like it would be an acceptable product for use on the exhaust studs.
