I have the Vettman pipes on my RV-8a and 0-360. Seems the pipes are too short and exhaust really courses over the bottom. Dirty, hot and potentially dangerous. I want to try extending them down 4-6 inches. Anybody know a fix. I'd prefer a clamp type as opposed to welding. Thanks, Bill N288WP RV-8a, 20 hrs Phase l

Vetterman sells a set of pipe extensions.

They can be put on with a clamp, or with screws.

As I recall, they were $45.00 or so, which included shipping.

Stainless steel, with mounting hardware.

I got the ones with a 15 degree bend.
