What?s the consensus opinion on adding washers between the firewall and mount vs between the mount and engine to adjust for engine sag? On the RV-8 the firewall bolts are easy to get to vs the engine mount bolts.

I know there are lots of post on this subject.
 
I did the job with large washers on the firewall. I forget exactly, but easy to measure and calculate, 1/8 inch of washer moved the spinner back plate up about 1/4 inch? And yes a lot easier than the engine bolt location, as I recall mounting the engine.
