If my engine is a narrow deck with no hold down plates for the cylinders, is it possible to use different case halves that use the cylinder hold down plates while still using all the engine components in my current engine. ie, crankshaft, push rods, etc. I would be get different pistons for my cylinders.

Fill us in. The only ND's I know of that don't use plates are O235 & O290. I'm about to send a 290 case to be cut for 320 ND's.

A few of the early 0 320's did not have hold down plates. I have only seen one. I believe the only difference in the case is the length of the cylinder studs.
