Now that much of the drama has died down (and unfortunately massive price increases since I started dreaming about all this), I am budgeting again....

I am confused on engine sourcing. I know you need a core, which I don't have. How did you source your core? Or did you buy outright?

Also, how do I determine what form of I0-360 I need for an RV-8? There are three part numbers.

If you go with a company like Barrett, they can attempt to find you a core...

If you buy a non-certified engine through Vans you don't need a core.
