What an Eye opener!!! I am working on an RV-6a project that has a suspected engine mount problem, so yesterday took it to a guy who builds them for Van's up at Chehalis, WA. to put in his jig. Turns out my mount being an earlier one is a bit shorter than current ones. Who knew any were different? Not me...
Anyway, he put me in touch with another builder who has the correct jig.
Point is, you should see the factory! His name is Steve Furesi, a real gentleman who took the time to show us his entire operation. Builds just about anything that can be welded including fuselages for PA-12's and much more. Looks like exhaust systems too...
