Need your thoughts or advice. I just purchased and engine overhaul and parts manual from a popular website. Expecting a bound type of paper manual typical from the factory or something close to it, I received a photocopied manual. The website says nothing noticeable about getting photocopied stuff. Yes, I can get the tech pubs on a CD for $$$.00 elsewhere. Another case of buyer beware and you get what you pay for, yes? What is your experiences?

I am guessing it was from sky.... I purchased one when I started planning to assemble a kit engine. Regardless of whether they violated any copyright laws, the manual I received was way out of date. It might be good for a general idea, but don't rely on it for any actual work. I purchased the actual manuals from AERO when I bought my engine components. Cost a lot more, but it is the real deal. I recently saw a post and noted that the parts manual was available on-line to be downloaded for free, I think it was from the lycoming site.
