Hi all-Newbie here-Just finished the empennage for my 9A and anxiously awaiting delivery of my QB wings and fuselage from Tony Partain. I've ordered 'lectric Bob's manual to learn about electrical system. I'm also interested in purchasing some type of primer on traditional aviation engines. I'll probably end up with a 320 in my 9A. Would appreciate any recommendations regarding a good starter text to learn more about aircraft engines.

You can take the Online version of the Advanced Pilot Seminar without having to travel. It is a very thorough course on engine management and understanding how to save money and time on maintenance.

I agree with Gil. The Sky Ranch Engineering Manual is hard to beat.
I've been working on Lycomings for over 30 years and I still refer to ti often.
