Making the swap from short gear legs to the longer gear legs (and required newer motor mount) and looking for any tips or pointers on removing the engine and motor mount.
I've searched and found how-to's on install (http://www.vansairforce.net/articles/IllustratedGuideToEngineHanging/enginehanging.htm), but not much for removal.
My plan.....once the engine is removed, I will use a pair of transmission jacks lifting a carpeted beam under the fuselage and then use a pair of jacks to steady everything at the tie-down points under the wings in order to remove the gear legs and motor mount.
Just looking for any manuals or tips to make my solo project simple and enjoyable.
