Working on my empennage and it's going quite well, I'm two months in and working consistently but not every day. I have the Rudder, vertical done and the horizontal skin is getting final riveted this week. This is my second airplane build, first was a Kitfox s7 912is that I still LOVE and fly very actively. That build took me 10 months working 70ish hours a week. This build I'm intending to do a lot slower and putting in 30-50% of that time a week.
I have the QB wings and QB fuselage on order and am curious the time input for these kits relative to the empennage. I've searched and seen some of the posts on build time but I know it's all relative to builder experience etc. So I want to get a relative gauge here so I can better plan avionics and engine purchases and the need for more hanger space, if possible.
Not including engine, avionics... Relative to the empennage how time consuming were the QB kits?
