Empennage fibreglass ends
Guys, I've completed the empennage with the exception of the fibreglass tips. I'm going to drill and countersink the tips and then fit foam 'ribs' and glass them in as shown in the construction manual.
Questions:- do I pop rivet them on before or after final filling & sanding? Also, should I be priming these at this stage or should I leave the whole finishing bit (including filling/sanding) until they are ready to be painted with the rest of the aeroplane? [presumably after some initial test flying]
