[RV8RIVETER]

Drilled the aft elevator pushrod to elevator to (as close to) spec.. The pushrod now barely scrapes the rear bulkhead. Anyone else had this problem? Did I screw up? Ok to take out some of the bulkhead? Thanks in advance for any advice, slams, or future winning lottery numbers!

I had the same problem

I searched through the archives here and found it was not uncommon.

I had to releive the opening in the bulkhead for clearance maybe 3/8" or so. Just be sure to leave enough edge distance in the bulkhead for the rivet you'll find yourself getting close to!

I think there was a note in the instructions or on the plans about that. I had to cut some too.
