I am adding a Monroy ATD 300 traffic alert in my panel. Where is the best place to tie in my hot lead? I would prefer a connection in the avionics circuit.

Thanks

Power to Monroy ATD 300

Firewall D-Sub Pin 6 on the back of the control board has a red wire that goes to the OIL PRESS TRANSDUCER. You could tap into that 12vdc red wire. It is powered by the avionics switch and by the EFIS fuse. The Dynon D-180 is on the same circuit.
Another option is to tap into the red wire that goes to the intercom (pin 20), or any red wire that powers any of the avionics.

Audio connection

The control board has a spare audio input. It was intended for the transponder but is not being used. Remove the transponder D-Sub connector from the back of the control board and insert the Monroy ATD 300 audio wire into pin 4 location (currently empty).
There are 5 pots on the back of the control board for adjusting audio levels. The one for the transponder is next to the stall warning pot.
