Where do most route the multitude of wires that need to get to or from either side of the wing spars ? Do most folks route along the floor between the side walls and the floor or go higher ?

one option

I've seen it done a number of ways, but I ran most of my wires going aft by tucking them up under the main longerons and around rather than through the main spar bulkhead:

a more detailed writeup of what I did along with other aft wiring routing pictures can be found at:

Thanks Chris we are ready to purchase the interior panels and are concerned about the routing. Thanks for the advice.

Center Tunnel

Hi-

I am building a 9A, and I ran my wires down the center tunnel. I added two conduits and pulled a strong fish wire though each. Then I made up large bundles that included wires for; servos, nav lights, stall warning, fuel level sendor, headset and mic jacks, PTT, ELT, pitot heat, OAT probe, fuel pump, landing lights and a pair of extra wires in case I forgot something. That was split between the two conduits and pulled from behind the panel, through the center tunnel, through two holes cut in the center of the spare and then routed to the wings and aft of the plane. When it is done, all the wire will be out of site and secured away from any controls. Lots of work, but I didn't want visible wire runs.
