Hi guys, my elec fuel pump died on me the other day and want to buy a facet replacement pump for it. Man was it tough to get at, in the tunnel wedged under all the wiring and both solenoids yeeesh!
At any rate what is the min and max pressure pump i should get? lots of choices on the Vans and Facet site. Engine is a o-320 with a carb not injected.
I hear you should not go above 5.0 psi, if this is true what is the minimum.

Van's offers one fuel pump for carbureted engines in the 2010-2011 catalog page 13.
ES 40108 Facit pump $42.00.

Green arc on van's gauge is from .5 to 8#

-max is 8.0 psi
-min is .5 psi
-desired is 4.0

My Airflow Performance boost pump relief valve pressure is 25 psi. The roller vane pump is capable of much more.

My IO-540-D4A5 inlet to mechanical fp normal pressure range= -2 to 35 psi. Max= 55 psi.
