How does one connect the ammeter shunts on Aero-electric drawings to the EIS-4000?

I am using the dual alternator Z-14 drawing.

There are 2 wires coming off of the shunt and going to the "Load Meter." I assume one of these would go to one of the aux inputs on the EIS, but where does the other one go?

Thanks,
Duane

Duane,

Not sure you can use a shunt with the EIS4000. Looking at their website I only saw hall-effect device. I would check with the manufacturer to make sure!

Hall effect

What BillC said. The EIS-4000 is not compatible with a traditional shunt. A hall effect is better in my opinion in that there are no breaks in the feed line you are measuring. It just fees thru the center of the the coil or ring of the hall sensor. Very accurate.
