Setup: IES 4000 w/HXr, Red Cube sensor, carburated O-360 w/o return line

I'm struggling to get my fuel flow calibrated. On the install sheet it says that 200 is a good starting point. It seems like my calibration is around 97 (although that might be a tad low, still trying to get it nailed down).

What are other people using in a similar setup? Should I suspect a problem

No problem whatever number works. If I remember mine was something less than 100 also.
I'm usually within 2/10ths of a gallon at top offs.

Walkman,

You are closer than you think to the correct value. The Red Cube's nominal starting point is 83. The EIS setup sheet for the Red Cube (EI FT-60) can be viewed here.

The older Flo Scan sender's initial entry was 200.

... 83 is the starting point. I think mine ended up at 84 after about 100 gallons of consumption.
