I'm looking for pictures that would show wire runs for engine monitor systems. Not having any luck searching, thanks Ivan.

wiring

There are some pictures here that can help.

I'm working on this now, drilling holes in the firewall. Looks like I'll need two, one 3/4" and one 1".

I'm surprised that none of the engine monitors have a module that can stay in front of the firewall, to reduce the number of wires that have to go into the cockpit. My bundle of EGT and CHT probes alone is about 3/4".

There IS an engine monitor that does just what you want...... Look here.... http://www.mglavionics.com/html/xtreme_ems.html

I have one in my six A.... it is the MINI EFIS/EMS and it works great. And easy to install. The RDAC works on all MGL EFIS units

from MGL.....

"Using an MGL Avionics RDAC for engine sender connection in the engine compartment, all sensor data is sent through the firewall through a single serial cable, making installation clean and easy."
