I am about to install an EI FL-5 with the older floscan 200 fuel meter. My electric fuel pump is located on the firewall. I was planning on installing the fuel meter just in front of the wing spare between the fuel selector and the electric pump. Reading the EI install manual they show the fuel meter after the electric pump. I have heard some installing the meter in the same place as I have in mind, but was not sure of the location of their electric pump. Thoughts?
