In the process of sorting out aircraft after engine swap. First 4 flights were normal but today when reducing power in the pattern to near idle 4 of the 6 EGT’s are spiking above 1600 degrees. Adding power brings them right back down into the 1200 range. No noticeable change in CHT’s. Setup is a IO540 with 9.5 to 1 pistons fed by a RSA10 servo with a Raven CAI. The issue is repeatable. The engine however seems happy and normal. Any ideas?
