I have a BMA EFIS/1 (GOLD Box) with an extra 25 pin, Ser. Port 2 installed. I am trying to hook up my Garmin SL30 and Aerosance FADEC to these ports. Can anyone shed some light on this for me.

(P.S. Condolences about having an EFIS/1 will NOT be appreciated.

Do you have a pdf of the manual?

The pinouts should be there. I have a copy somewhere, but I can't put my hands on it right now.

I never tried to hook up an Aerosance FADEC, but others reported that it worked fine.

I had the SL30 hooked up to my gold box, and the interconnection worked flawlessly.

If you don't have the manual, let me know and I'll dig for mine.
