Another question it seems as though there is a never ending stream of questions with this project. Airplane RV3 question I am "trying" to put the bottom skin on the wing "QB". On the rib where the two skins meet "inboard" the skin skin that is already attached does not run parallel with the rib. Because the two don't run together there is not enough edge distance on one end of the skin that is already attached for rivets. The skin that is still to be attached will have plenty of edge distance at the overlap. My question what do i need to do and please dont tell me that i have to drill the rib rivets and move it. Thanks

A number of ideas are going through my mind. If the skin with plenty of overlap is on the outside, then how about putting a few in-between rivets in the shorter skin & rib. Then overlap with the normal rivet holes, so you don't see them. Other methods such as a doubler attached to the rib for a flange extension can be done too. And you might check with Van's on that one.
