Eagle's Nest arrives SnF in "high-style" - Thank you JetBlue!
Circle Christian School, Winter Springs, FL, is a new addition to the growing family of Eagle's Nest campuses and are scheduled to begin their Eagle's Nest (RV-12) project in the Fall. On-board the JetBlue flight originating in Orlando were 40+ Circle Christian students and mentors. SnF staff also generously provided personal escorts through selected forums for all Eagle's Nest students and mentors. Thank you SnF! And yes, Austin Malcomb age 16 (EAA Story) and his dad, Jeff Malcomb, flew Eagle's Nest One from Indiana to SnF; and another EN-1 student-builder, Ross Porter, piloted Eagle's Nest One from SnF back to it's nest in Indiana.

As founder of Eagle's Nest, this was a huge thrill for me. I had wanted to get a project into a Christian school from the start, and Circle has fulfilled that wish. Look for this project to be the "poster child" of student aircraft builds. The organizational efforts and cooperation have been absolutely wonderful. They have almost single-handedly brought ENP up another level--getting the program accredited through Embry-Riddle University.

Special thanks go out to Ernie, Jim Werner, founder of CCS, EAA Chapter 74, the Sun 'N Fun staff, Scott Malcomb of Jet Blue, and the staff of Jet Blue University for putting this all together. For Jet Blue to offer a free chartered A-320 into Lakeland is a high point in our brief history. We expect great things from this program and all the relationships made in these last few weeks.

Bob---its a great thing you started. Very proud of you. Perhaps we'll see alot of young pilots, and engineers come out the project you started. Gives the kids something constructive to do, and keeps them out of trouble.
Awesome job!

I just sent an email to jetblue thanking them for their support. Bob, I wish I had been able to meet you at SNF. I looked, but we missed each other. Thanks for your work with these young people. What a legacy you have started.
