Just out of curiosity, is the Skyview backward-compatible with the wiring harness and sensor package for the older D-180? In other words, can the skyview module just be dropped-in as a plug n' play replacement?
I'm not upgrading this year, but it's on my future wish-list.

Yes... I did this while still building. Just the EMS harness.

The biggest change is pins 11 and 12 serial data on the D-180 become Skyview general inputs.

It should be an easy change, even on a flying plane.
