I'm upgrading my panel to a Dynon HDX display and am looking to sell 1 of 2 Classic D1000 displays.

I'm planning on using the other D1000 as a backup but am also willing to sell.

Both are in great shape like-new, fully functional and up-to-date with original box.

As far as I know you can't mix Classic and HDX screens in the same plane, if that was what you were considering for "backup".

As far as I know you can't mix Classic and HDX screens in the same plane, if that was what you were considering for "backup".

A mix of Classic/Touch and HDX will operate together, provided they are on the same software version. But note that the HDX is now on v17.0 and the Classic/Touch are on v16.7.0, and that is where they will stay (except maintenance releases may be done) and the ability to exist in a system with HDX running newer SW than that is forever broken.

If I replace my 10 inch classic EFIS with a HDX and leave my 8 inch classic in the system; Does anyone know exactly what features I will lose on it. Will anything still work on it?
