Brantel Well Known Member May 14, 2009 #3 A rectangle. The AP74 uses a clamp bucket that it sits in and pulls it tight. The tab at the bottom is optional and can be cut off.

N941WR Legacy Member May 14, 2009 #4 John, I'm a beta tester for Dynon and early on I realized I didn't want to rivet a bracket to my finished panel after cutting the hole for the AP74. With that in mind I made a bracket to hold the unit in place. Dynon liked it well enough that they copied it and the bracket is available from them. Check out this page from my web site for details of how this simple bracket holds the AP74.
