What location have you found that you've flown and that works?

I'm building a -3B and the tailcone's a bit on the small side. I'm dithering between the stabilizer shelf in the back and the bulkhead (F-308) aft of the baggage compartment. My plane will have a pitch servo at the bellcrank behind the baggage compartment.

Thanks,
Dave

Not sure how similar the F-1 Rocket is but we just installed one on the bottom side of the aft baggage compartment floor using some standoffs to keep the top side on top.

It could be on the top side of the floor as well but wasn't as clean an installation.

i would need to look at the plans to get the former numbers but its between the former that forms the rear of the baggage compartment and the next one back. i use two 1/2 x1/2 inch square tubes. i used #8 nylon screw to mount them to the angles and to mount the adhrs to the tubes.
